Celebrating Veterans Day has always been a huge tradition at Orange Hunt Elementary School. With more than 60% of its students coming from military families, students and staff have taken great pride in showing their appreciation to vets.

Dr. Brabrand invited the Garrison Commander of Fort Belvoir to join him for a Friday school visit to our school! At Orange Hunt ES, nearly one-third of the students have military connections. Dr. Brabrand and COL Greenberg sat down and spoke to some of those students during their visit, and got some very honest feedback about what like can be life for the children of those who serve our country. Fairfax County SAT Scores Continue to Surpass State and Global Averages
Fairfax County Public Schools seniors in the class of 2022 continued to perform well above state and global averages on the SAT, according to results released by the College Board. The FCPS total mean score of 1185 surpassed both the state average (1124) and the global average (1050) for the class of 2022.
Superintendent's Weekly Reflections

FCPS Graduation Rates Remain Strong for the Class of 2022
After seeing record high rates last year, the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) Class of 2022 continued to report strong on-time graduation rates at 94.2 percent, according to data released today from the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE).
