Orange Hunt was featured this year on WJLA for our Veterans Day Event

Celebrating Veterans Day has always been a huge tradition at Orange Hunt Elementary School. With more than 60% of its students coming from military families, students and staff have taken great pride in showing their appreciation to vets.

Congratulations to Third Grade Teacher Katy Bohn who was recognized at the 2019 FCPS Honors Ceremony!

Dr. Brabrand invited the Garrison Commander of Fort Belvoir to join him for a Friday school visit to our school! At Orange Hunt ES, nearly one-third of the students have military connections. Dr. Brabrand and COL Greenberg sat down and spoke to some of those students during their visit, and got some very honest feedback about what like can be life for the children of those who serve our country.
